Pricing Asian Options with Correlators

چکیده
We derive a series expansion by Hermite polynomials for the price of an arithmetic Asian option. This requires computation moments and correlators underlying asset which polynomial jump–diffusion process are given analytically; hence, no numerical simulation is required to evaluate series. allows analytical expressions option Greeks. The weight function defining Gaussian density with scale b. find that rate convergence depends on b, we prove lower bound guarantee convergence. Numerical examples show accurate but unstable initial values far from zero, mainly due rounding errors.

Unified Pricing of Asian Options
A simple and numerically stable 2-term partial differential equation characterizing the price of any type of arithmetically averaged Asian option is given. The approach includes both continuously and discretely sampled options and it is easily extended to handle continuous or discrete dividend yields. In contrast to present methods, this approach does not require to implement jump conditions fo...
متن کاملPricing Asian Options on Lattices
Path-dependent options are options whose payoff depends nontrivially on the price history of an asset. They play an important role in financial markets. Unfortunately, pricing path-dependent options could be difficult in terms of speed and/or accuracy. The Asian option is one of the most prominent examples. The Asian option is an option whose payoff depends on the arithmetic average price of th...
متن کاملPricing and hedging Asian basket spread options
Abstract In this paper we consider the problem of pricing a general Asian basket spread option. We develop approximations formulae based on comonotonicity theory and moment matching methods. We compare their relative performances and explain how to choose the best approximation technique as a function of the Asian basket spread characteristics. We also give the Greeks for our proposed methods. ...
متن کاملPricing Asian Options for Jump Diffusions
We construct a sequence of functions that uniformly converge (on compact sets) to the price of Asian option, which is written on a stock whose dynamics follows a jump diffusion, exponentially fast. We show that each of the element in this sequence is the unique classical solutions of a parabolic partial differential equation (not an integro-differential equation). As a result we obtain a fast n...
متن کاملPricing Asian Options using Monte Carlo Methods
Asian options are of particular importance for commodity products which have low trading volumes (e.g. crude oil), since price manipulation is inhibited. Hence, the pricing of such options becomes one of the most interesting fields. Since there are no known closed form analytical solutions to arithmetic average Asian options, many numerical methods are applied. This paper deals with pricing of ...
